ONDA AUDIO originated as Connecting.808, my diploma project at the University of Art and Design Offenbach. The project began with a critical examination of established electronic music production systems and explored how their increasing functional complexity could be translated into a more intuitive, physical and spatial form of interaction.

Following my diploma, the project received a startup grant, providing the opportunity to continue its development beyond the academic context. What began as a speculative design proposition gradually evolved into an entrepreneurial venture: Connecting.808 became ONDA AUDIO.

This transition involved more than a change of name. A distinct brand identity was developed, the product architecture and interaction principles were refined, and the hardware was further developed with the objective of moving the system towards production readiness. Functional prototypes allowed the underlying concept to be tested and translated into an increasingly coherent relationship between industrial design, interaction, technology and brand.

Today, ONDA AUDIO represents the continued evolution of the original idea, from an academic investigation into the future of music interaction towards a tangible product system and independent brand.
